“Backpack ready for our excursion, track loaded on our app for trekking Trace My Trail, ready for departure ……”
Many wonder if need to warm-up before starting an excursion. Let’s say that like all sports, trekking also involves a few minutes of warm-up despite the fact that walking is already a warm-up itself.
Sometimes the starting point of our excursion already starts with an hard climb and if we are not well heated we can have some slight problems such as ankles or knees.
Therefore we can start right from these to warm-up them adequately
For the ankles we can lift one foot at a time from the ground and rotate them first in one direction and then in another.
Then the knees by slightly flexing the legs with the hands resting on the knees and swirling them from the inside to the outside and vice versa.
For the thigh muscles we will only lean against a wall and with the other hand we will grab the ankle by bending the leg backwards until we feel the muscle tense.
These little tricks will certainly help you improve your excursion.
